RAW:almond is a pop-up restaurant and food festival that emerges from the mouth of the frozen Assiniboine and Red Rivers near The Forks in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Nestled along the Assiniboine River Skating Trail, the restaurant is visited by thousands each winter as they bundle up and brave the frigid weather to communally enjoy delicious meals constructed by a series of guest chefs.

For the 2015 instalment, euoi was commissioned to develop a character illustration that captured the spirit of Winnipeg, the restaurant, and it's unique winter experience. From this, euoi designed custom enamel mugs to contribute to the unique experience of dining on a frozen river, sipping a hot drink, and sharing in this one-of-a-kind event with friends.
